Teachers: Mrs. Barnes (Website)

Kindergarten is a time when students really grow as learners. Students are always eager and enthusiastic to learn new things. Throughout the year, we do many fun projects and truly enjoy learning! After learning all the letters of the alphabet, we had an alphabet fashion show. We performed a reader’s theater skit called “Five Little Monkeys”. We have parties to celebrate different holidays, we build and create things, have a big celebration for the 100th day of school, and enjoy many great books on Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

So much growth happens throughout the year. By the time students leave kindergarten, they are reading, writing, adding, subtracting, and so much more. At the end of kindergarten, students are independent and curious learners.
