Gifford Grade School

Congratulations to the Gifford Baseball Team on winning the IESA Class 1A State Championship!  They were one of eight teams to make it to the state tournament.  They beat Springfield Christ The King on Friday by a score of 4-3 to advance to the medals and trophy games on Saturday. They beat Colchester West Prairie by a score of 18-3 after three innings to make it to the championship game. They beat Peru Catholic by a score of 8-6 to capture the State Championship.  It was a great effort by the players and coaches with a lot of fan support cheering them on.  Gifford Grade School is very proud of you and this outstanding accomplishment.
