Gifford Grade School extends a heartfelt THANK YOU to our school community! We're incredibly proud of our readers and grateful for your support, which made our fundraiser a success. Our students had a wonderful time reading. We can't wait to host another Read-A-Thon next year!
The Read-a-Thon ends this Sunday, so it's not too late to log more minutes! As a school, we've read more than 20,000 minutes 📚
As one last encouragement to read even more, the class with the highest average of minutes read per student will earn a pizza party 🍕

We have created a separate Facebook page for Athletics. We have so many great things to highlight, share, and post for our school that we decided to dedicate one page for happenings and activities at GGS and one for our athletic teams. We will double athletic posts on both pages for a short while to allow time to follow our Gifford Eagles Athletics page.
Traditional Snow Day for Tuesday, January 23rd.
With continued inclement weather, we are wanting to make sure that our students and staff are able to stay safe. With concerns of some icy and slick roads in our district, we are going to have another Traditional Snow Day. As much as we want to be in school, we have to think of safety. There will be no learning expectations at home with the Traditional Snow Day today. Stay Safe.
Please note the updated bracket for the 7th grade Boys Basketball Regional at Milford. Gifford will play Wednesday, January 24th at 5:30 pm vs. St. Malachy.

The 7th Grade Regional Basketball Game that Gifford was scheduled to play in tonight , Monday, January 22nd at Milford has been cancelled. They will be working on an updated schedule for the Regional Games. We will post the updated information when we get it.
With the forecasted weather of freezing rain and the possibility of ice during travel times this morning and today, Gifford Grade School will have a Traditional Snow Day today, Monday, January 22nd. With the Traditional Snow Day, there will be no learning expectations at home today. Please be safe.

We have been notified by Judah Christian that they are needing to cancel our home basketball game and the away volleyball game scheduled for Thursday, January 4th.
